Dior and I brings the viewer inside the storied world of the Christian Dior fashion house with a privileged, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons’ first haute couture collection as its new artistic director—a true labor of love created by a dedicated group of collaborators. Melding the everyday, pressure- filled components of fashion with mysterious echoes from the iconic brand’s past, the film is also a colorful homage to the seamstresses who serve Simons’ vision.

Rövid haj kalandok / Adventures with short hair
Szóval novemberben levágattam a hajam állig érőre. Most már kicsit hosszabb – és már azt is tudom, hogy szeretem hordani!
Hullámosra formázom sütővassal. Az első nap még egész göndör, a harmadikon már csak pár laza hullám van benne. Tetszik ez az átmenet, minden fázisban jól néz ki. Ha nincs kedvem bíbelődni a sütővassal, akkor csak arra vigyázok a szárításnál, hogy a végek egységesen álljanak, mert a hajam magától épp annyira hullámos, hogy a vége ezerfelé áll, csak arra nem, amerre szeretném.
Először csak a besütésnél tűnt egyszerűbbnek, ha középen választottam el a hajam és úgy csináltam meg körben… Aztán egyszer siettem és úgy maradt – és rájöttem, hogy tetszik, ahogy kicsit megváltoztatja az arcom! Eddig nem merült fel bennem, hogy a magas homlokommal és karakteres orrommal jól állna a középválaszték – lehet, hogy hosszú hajjal tényleg nem is lenne jó -, de most valahogy tetszik, ahogy kiemeli a vonásaim. Akárcsak a képeken látható, hasonló adottságokkal rendelkező sztárokéit!
So I had my hair cut is november to chin-length. Now it’s grown out a little – and I also figured out how I like to wear it!
I make it wavy with a curling iron. At the first day it’s quite curly, on the third, only slightly wavy. I like this transformation, every step looks a different kind of good. If I don’t feel like spending time with the ironing, I only concentrate on making sure my ends look somewhat in order after drying it, because my hair on its own does everything in its power to go in any other direction than the one, I’d like it to.
First, it was only easier to part my hair in the middle while I was doing the ironing all around my head… Than once I was in such a hurry, I forgot to move the part to the side – and it surprised me, how much I liked how it changed my face a little! I hadn’t thought a central part would go well with my high forehead and characteristic nose – maybe with long hair, it really wouldn’t be good -, but now I somehow like how it compliments my features! The same effect you can see on the celebrities on the pictures!

Tegnap megnéztem a filmet elalvás előtt, közben körmöt lakkoztam és besütöttem a hajam. Grace Kelly olyan könnyeden viseli ezeket a szuper elegáns ruhákat! // Yesterday I watched the film before going to bed, while I was doing my nails and curled my hair. Grace Kelly wears these super-elegant dresses so effortlessly!
A legjobb strandruha, amit valaha láttam! Plusz Grace Kelly annyira szép! A ruha miatt magasan a kedvenc részem a filmből. // The best poolside outfit, I’ve ever seen! Plus, Grace Kelly is just so beautiful! Because of the dress, this is my favorite part of the film.

Az utóbbi hetekben végignéztem a Project Runway legutóbbi évadát. Na jó, a legutóbbi hármat… Mindig is Nina volt a kedvenc zsűritagom, szinte kivétel nélkül ugyanannak a versenyzőnek a ruhája a kedvencünk – és persze minden epizódban kifogástalanul néz ki. Elegáns, letisztult stílusa van, mégis mindig praktikusnak és kényelmesnek is tűnnek az összeállításai. Imádom!
This couple of weeks, I watched the latest season of Project Runway. OK, the last three seasons… Nina had always been meg favorite of the judges, we almost always like and unlike the same outfits from the contestant – and she looks impeccable in each episode. She has an effortlessly elegant style, her clothes look super chic, yet practical and comfy. I love it!
És a lakberendezéshez is van érzéke! // And she has a sense for interior design, too!
Capes /// Blanket coats
Capes definitely have their charm, they’re so chic. That “I don’t even have to be able to properly raise my arms, I’ll just let others come to me and do stuff for me” kind of chic. And they are absolutely IN. Alluring. THEN I tried one on in Promod and I realized, they’re probably not my thing. For starters, is it possible for a cape not to fit? Or is this just me? Do I enjoy unrestrained movement too much to let it go? And even more crucial than that, I know my arms would freeze. I would only be able to wear my capes on those 20 days a year when I normally just carry an extra pullover or blazer in case it gets cold in the evening. My arms and hands are always cold. I can’t let them stay outside of my coat if I want them to behave normal!
Blanket scarves or coats – the other huge sleeveless outerwear trend going on right now – are on the other hand a whole different story. I mean you can wear them ON TOP OF YOUR COAT! Isn’t that great? For a person, who’s constantly freezing, it’s the best thing ever! Also, you can bring new life to your coat-game, change your old pieces up really easily. I have strong intentions to try this one. Maybe even DIY it! There are so many good tutorials out there… I’ll just have to find the right fabric for it. Or the right blanket, for that matter.
